Madras War Cemetery is a memorial and a war cemetery in Nandambakkam at 3 kms from Chennai international airport. This cemetery is created to receive Second World War graves from many cantonment and civil cemeteries. The cemetery contains 856 Commonwealth burials from the Second World War. The Cemetery is open all through the year from 0800 hrs – 1800 hrs.
